Family Planning & Reproductive Health

By integrating FP with a variety of RH services (such as antenatal and postpartum care, post-abortion care, cervical cancer screening, HIV counseling and testing), the global health community is working to bring reversible, long-acting and other types of modern contraceptive methods to the women who are hardest to reach and perhaps have the most to gain. In developing countries, FP is a key strategy for reducing maternal, infant and child mortality and morbidity through the prevention of unintended pregnancies and the promotion of healthy pregnancy spacing. Materials here contain up-to-date, evidence-based guidance on approaches to providing comprehensive FP services and integrating them other RH interventions.
